Treker’s patented Tension-Free Floating Neck works by transferring string tension to an internal cold rolled steel bar and away from the wood of the neck. On conventional necks a thin steel truss rod is used to compress the wood of the neck to counteract string tension. This compression creates dead spots and can contribute to neck warping under changing atomospheric conditions. Compression also dampens the natural resonant qualities of the wood - with much the same effect as placing your finger on a drum skin before striking it. Treker also builds replacement necks for 22 Fret - 25½ scale guitars and 34" basses that feature this same advanced technology. All Sustanium necks feature a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!!

I bought a Fender Light Bass, couldn’t get a decent sound out of it. I had three Fender factory necks put on with poor results. Installed Treker Floating neck. WOW!!! INSTANT CHANGE!!! It eliminates dead spots, increases sustain and always stays in tune. It absolute made the bass!!! I had installed a custom bridge, custom pickups, but nothing really helped like installing the Treker Floating neck. IT’s like the difference between night and day!!! IF you want your Fender bass or copy to sound better than a high end custom mega buck bass - bolt on a Floating neck. It makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!!! J.R. Bess
